Today was meant to be when I published the first issue of The Dagda, the much-loved #Irish "Ollathair" or Great Father god who appears in the Book of Invasions. Specifically, this issue would be dealing with "Saint" Deaglán/Declan of Ardmhór ("Ardmore") in #Waterford, but also "Saints" Earc and Dubhthach. Sadly, the issue is not ready, and won't be tomorrow or the day after. I won't be skipping it, because 🥁Dagda📢, but it's gonna be a few days late. I may put out a forerunner email (subscribers only maybe) with some preamble - some discussion of key papers I can refer to in the issue, to save word-count on the issue itself.
