Not just more of this prolonged spell of cold, grey and wet weather, here in NE England we've got strong winds thrown into the mix for good measure.
Must admit to spending some time today looking at images of kinder climes and one in particular that I thought conveyed the very essence of a quintessential English summer's day.
Took this photograph of the River Eye as it flows through the extremely pretty Gloucestershire Cotswolds village of Lower Slaughter.
