Been meaning to talk about LLMs burning library of Alexandria by making human made work impossible to reach via slop. Unfortunately, Anthropic felt that wasn’t literal enough and have been physically destroying books too. https://www.yahoo.com/news/us/articles/anthropic-destroyed-millions-books-train-174311566.html Because laws only apply to people, it’s legal. Anthropic’s whole gimmick was supposed to be “A.I.” with some kind of care about humanity. Seems like the people who warned us that “A.I.” companies were making absurd claims about AGI were actually just marketing … we’re in fact right. #technology #crime #CorporateCrime #LLMnews

ENG: Delivery apps track you consumer habits and rack up prices to the maximum you are willing to pay (up to 15% more) FOR EVERY ITEM 🤯. Amazon and Walmart started the trend. Its so lucrative that every major retailer and delivery app is jumping in. Pay with cash, buy in person and local. Dont feed your personal data to corp apps to avoid being suckered by surveillance pricing or Ai Pricing.
