Day 6: managed to start early before the Plöckenpass gets motorcycle infested, but the long rough steep “gravel” climb to Rif. Marinelli in 30C+ heat killed me and was considering giving up. Fun descent, then the siesta incident, “dip” in the river (too cold to submerge) and the pleasant surprise of the next climb is fresh Champagne gravel (with a punishing chunky loose part at the end)!
