A great day at the beach today!. The ocean was calm and I had a nice swim. One “wrinkle”— before the swim, a large fin emerged and moved about for several minutes. Drew quite a crowd of onlookers. With the known presence of aggressive sharks here, I was just about to cancel the swim. But soon the fin flopped back and forth, consistent with an ocean sunfish, not a shark. After waiting a while, I then went for the swim. Fun! #CapeCod #ocean #beach #photography #nature #NaturePhotography

Guide? Warning? Portal to alternate dimensions? I clearly have played too much BioShock Infinite. Cue the Al Jolson-esque version of Shiny Happy People. #photography #Massachusetts #CapeCod

It's wicked hot! With extreme heat advisories in effect for much of the state this week, we're urging #pet owners to take precautions 🐕‍🦺 Try to restrict walks to early in the morning or late in the evening when the weather is cool 🐾 Walk #dogs on softer ground, such as dirt trails or grass instead of pavement, which can burn paw pads 1/ #petsafety #dog #massachusetts #boston #salem #methuen #capecod

The thing about living on #CapeCod is that people think you're quaint and provincial and insular because you don't want to drive over the Sagamore or Bourne Bridges to get to the rest of Mass and New England. It's not that at all. It's because we know they're fucking obsolete deathtraps. Because almost every week there's news about rollovers or head-on collisions, and we simply don't want to risk our lives to go shopping or visit folks.

Sometimes all it takes is saying "obrigado, boa noite" to get a smile out of someone, and that's enough. #brazilian #capecod

#capecod Once Upon A Time on Cape Cod ...  Four boys found a time portal, then a witch of local legend and then demons of Wampanoag folklore. And no one knew why the neighborhood went to hell. Read about it free ... https://dl.bookfunnel.com/13emi4fww3w
