Prima delle 7, un uomo di 39 anni cagliaritano, con regolare porto per armi da fuoco, si è presentato spontaneamente in una caserma dell'Arma dicendo di aver appena sparato alla moglie e al proprio fratello. I soccorsi sanitari e i militari dell'Arma giunti sui luoghi dei fatti hanno constatato il decesso del fratello dell'uomo, 42 anni, rimasto ucciso sul colpo da un proiettile al tronco.
La donna è nell'ospedale Brotzu di Cagliari in condizioni critiche. Secondo le prime ricostruzioni degli investigatori riportate da media sardi, il gesto è riconducibile a contrasti in famiglia.
