Thanks to Glasgow City Heritage Trust for sending me an information pack about their Brutal Glasgow Trail, celebrating the city's Brutalist Architecture. It's not a style that's everyone's cup of tea, but it's still an important part of the city's architectural history and I'm looking forward to checking the trail out. Sometimes Glasgow's architecture makes it feel like you're walking through a magnificent oil painting, and sometimes it's like being trapped in a drawing by M.C. Escher. This definitely falls into the latter category. It's the rear fire escape of the Queen Margaret Union on Glasgow University's Gilmorehill Campus. #glasgow #architecture #architecturephotography #mcescher #brutalistarchitecture
