Vale #billoddie it seems. I knew him best as a Goodie of course, but I also read Gone Birding with great enjoyment.
The Goodies were part of a core memory for people of a certain age, and now only fuzzy chops is left.

I happened to be listening to an episode of I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again yesterday on a train journey. Bill Oddie wrote and performed all the songs and many of the jokes. I was quite surprised. Bye bye, Bill. #billoddiehttps://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b00r92l4 (sadly unavailable outside the UK)

Oh no, not Bill Oddie... Two of the three Goodies gone now. Won't mean much to younger folk, but to those of us of a certain, The Goodies were a wonderfully funny, warm light in our childhood.
Sad ecky-thump.
