Aluminati Orion
At first glance, this guitar is BARELY purple. The bridge is purple. The headstock is purple. But if you look closely, the whole neck is purple. The neck which is made of aluminum, by the way, hence the name. (Which would be Aluminiaiti Guitars for our British friends.)
Also the purple itself is barely purple. Does anyone remember the Rogue Aluminator from the 90s? That had an aluminum body with a bunch of holes for weight reduction. (We did not know what “trypophobia” was back then, we just knew that those guitars made us very uncomfortable, so look that up at your own peril.) Anyway, they were available in a similar shade of purple. Is there some particular reason that aluminum can not be anodized to a normal purple, and that it has to be that neon violet color?
The body is made of lucite in an angular St. Vincent-esque sort of shape. Visible tool marks create a texture that follows the shape of the guitar.
Complete with a pair of humbuckers, volume, tone, toggle switch, and the aforementioned purple anodized bridge. Is it us, or does everything look slightly off-center on the body? Maybe it’s a conspiracy to keep us on edge.
