Unpopular Opinion, but I love O’Hare Airport. The aesthetic is very ‘not so distant, but bright future’ to me reminiscent of Star Trek:TNG. To me, it looks like it could just as easily be ‘Starfleet Academy’ as an airport. And it’s clean, efficient, and not a bad place to be in a travel delay. And there is a masseuse who was a former Boxer/Fighter at the Airport massage place, you gotta ask for him! He uses his hands for good now, but he’s got the Tiger in him! #travel #airtravel #airports

The government should be protecting our public airports, not selling them off for parts. History is littered with examples of the failures of privatization. It drives up costs for the public, quality suffers, and workers always end up paying the price. #cdnpoli #airports #NDP

A Westminster Hall debate on #Transport in the South East took place on 3 February 2026, opened by Jess Brown-Fuller MP. Buses in the region are largely deregulated, though the Bus Services Act 2025 allows local authorities to franchise routes. The South East has an extensive rail network, served by operators including Avanti West Coast, Chiltern, GWR, CrossCountry, South Western, Southern, Thameslink and Southeastern, with major projects including East-West Rail and HS2.
