Il Tempo: Egitto, italiana condannata per adulterio. Ancora minacce dal marito: "Risposami oppure..."
Non accenna a placarsi il calvario per Nessy Guerra, la giovane italiana di 26 anni che in Egitto è stata condannata a sei mesi per adulterio dopo l'accusa da parte del marito Tamer Hamaouda. In una lettera inviata al legale della giovane, l'uomo è tornato a farle pressione: "O mi risposi o finirai in cella". La nuova udienza è fissata per il prossimo 7 ottobre, mentre entro la fine dell'anno verrà calendarizzata la discussione del ricorso in Cassazione dove la difesa proverà a ribaltare la condanna.
"Non è un accordo ma sono dichiarazioni farneticanti, di un uomo folle, uno psicopatico - ha detto l'avvocata, Agata Armanetti - La mia assistita non è una criminale, ma rischia di diventare una vittima di femminicidio". E ha aggiunto: "Il reato per cui è reclusa in Egitto, nel nostro Paese non lo è. L'ex marito ha corrotto i testimoni che hanno dichiarato il falso davanti a un notaio. Per il diritto egiziano la condanna per adulterio deve essere emessa solo se testimoniata da quattro persone. Siamo di fronte a una donna che è fuggita da un uomo violento".

The turmoil hasn't subsided for Nessy Guerra, the 26-year-old Italian woman who was sentenced to six months for adultery in Egypt after being accused by her husband, Tamer Hamaouda. The ex-husband has corrupted witnesses who gave false testimony before a notary. According to Egyptian law, the conviction for adultery must only be issued if witnessed by four people. We are facing a woman who fled from a violent man.”
