There has been a lot of argument in the academy over the last several decades about whether there was a truly decisive moment in the European Theater of World War II. I contend that there was, and it was this.
Imagine you live in the DC universe, and your one and only superpower is total immunity to Darkseid. That's it. No matter what he does, he can never do worse than mildly inconvenience you for a second or two. Imagine how much that would freak him out. The one being in the universe that can afford to just... not care about him. It would be hilarious.

It arrived yesterday. To be honest, I was slightly disappointed it didn't get to go on more adventures by that point. Also a bit unfortunate that it's consumable supplies and not a tool or something that I could ever after regard as "the Indianapolis tweezers" or whatever.
I always welcome my routine sinus infections, but particularly during a week in which multiple 100 °F-plus heat indexes (indeces? indices? I have forgotten the plural of "index") are expected.

It's still sinking in that my second disability hearing yesterday actually ended on a positive note. It's the first time in this entire four-and-a-half-year process that anything like that has happened.
There are still months to go before my situation materially improves, but morale is up.
