That said, I feel it might be a bit too far removed from PHP's current syntax — it reminds me a little of Perl 6, if that makes sense (and I hope no one takes offense at the comparison). On a separate note, I'm really glad the proposal caught your interest.

@ProjektGopher@phpc.social @Crell@phpc.social At PHPCon 2026 JP, I heard people expressing their desire for version 8.6. It’s a bit of a shame that we can’t make that happen. When accepted in 8.6, I’m ready to give it my all. (But forcing things isn't a good idea. I understand this very well)

@ProjektGopher@phpc.social @Crell@phpc.social Yes, I plan to move my proposal for the user_cache bundle extension to PHP 8.7. However, I find it a bit disappointing that this will likely delay support on the library side. Still, I believe this is unavoidable.
