"Co-Authored-By: Claude " is a neat trick by #Anthropic to use our commits as FREE AD SPACE for their brand name.

Let's just say I was not impressed.

So I added the below instruction to my AGENTS. md , (linked to from CLAUDE. md):

**NEVER** add "co-authored-by claude code" or any similar content in my commit messages. Or "Co-Authored-By: Claude ", etc.
