Aaaand... we're done!

Today I wrote the words 'The End' and underlined it with several squiggly bits '~~~~~~~~' so it's official.

'Furry Inside: Being' is first-pass complete. Brain cools off for a week or two then back to the re-write of book 1: 'Furry Inside: Becoming'.
Target is mid-June for release of 'Becoming', fingers crushed.

Carrot Cake is the absolute proof that the Baking Fairy exists.
You take ingredients that are unrelated to cake (I mean, grated carrot and crushed pineapple? Seriously?)
This lumpy gloop that in no way resembles cake batter is spread across two cake pans.
Some time during the 35 minutes in the oven the Baking Fairy replaces the mess with light, moist and tasty cake!
Ultimately, of course, the cake part is just scaffolding for the cream-cheese icing which is the REAL reason anyone makes carrot cake.

It was my 60th birthday this week (yay me). At dinner with friends one of my older friends told me 69 is the "It's basically over" birthday.
If someone dies at 59 everyone thinks 'Oh how tragic, they died young'. But as soon as there's a 6 (or higher) number in front of their age if they die people kinda shrug - "they were old".

Constant acceleration is a funny thing. According to back-of-the-online-calculator math, if you accelerated constantly at 6g for 40 mins, turned around and decelerated at 6g for another 40 minutes you'd be on the moon. Which is cool.
But...
Suppose you only accelerated at one-half g (plus earth gravity effect). You'd think it must take days to get there...
