@ikuturso@mastodon.social @mastodonmigration@mastodon.online Honestly I think the custom algorithms are a good feature of Bluesky and I wish there was a way to bring something like that to Mastodon. It would be cool if we could roll our own algorithms and assign weights to things like "popular with accounts you follow", "popular with your local server", "large accounts" and then tune how it should boost or hide those things. Would be complicated to build I'd imagine though

@inthehands@hachyderm.io @hasani@my-spaces.social I read a very long article dissecting the economics of this but i can't remember what it was. What I remember though is that food shortages are unlikely in the global north. Higher prices are almost guaranteed to some extent. The global south, on the other hand, will be much harder hit and will have higher prices and potential shortages.

@RoelandDeVries @bob_zim @tumainidaniel @signalapp I don't have an iPhone but that still seems like a flaw. I usually just swipe away notifications or tap them. I would never think of having to go delete them later.

@tumainidaniel @signalapp the wording in the post indicated that IOS fixed a bug where is it was keeping notification data for apps that were deleted. That implies that notification data for apps that haven't been deleted might still be vulnerable the same way
