@ePirat got it. Some person from ÖDP (German party), which are also using this platform also recommended to use this instead of the offical platform - as it's way harder to get to the needed signatures. But anyway, thanks for your consideration :)

@unitof @river you would be able to get tax exemptions as a volunteer. Or an organisation could hand out donation receipts (which companies could use to reduce their taxes) :)

@funkylab@mastodon.social @inj4n@chaos.social already reached out to the Petitionsausschuss and asked for advise / clarification. My (non legal) guess is, they can't ignore a petiton just because it's not "the right platform" - this sounds not democratic to me. Also my friend (chatGPT) told me, it's ok to do it that way ;)
