@G8RKE@mastodon.radio exactly. the signal is a compressed audio that is encoded ..needs to be decoded, amd than it is compressed again .. not much left of the original data. what is okish is from this ICOM system to yaesu and visa versa... but it is not really good either. a weak LSB signal is more audiophile than that.

@G8RKE@mastodon.radio I would need a ysf Hotspot and the problem is, that those DMR / yaesu bridges are working but the audio is really bad... at least for my ears ..and if the other station has some accent I don't know, I won't understand a thing in English. ( I can handle country cork (long story ), London, Southern ..but the northern English is...tough 😂 )

@vk6flab@mastodon.radio a device to record amd resent the signal to unlock every car is on the market for years .. cost you 1.000€ or so...including a kit to disable alarms and make a key on the fly so no surprises here. fun fact: you can also simulate the light signals of the car, block the lock, and the car will stay open...and the owner won't notice ..another minute and the car is gone for good. do not trust those keys, if you have an expensive car..
