@Paperbacks_n_Frybread@mastodon.world a few years back a friend pointed out that I didn’t often read books by female authors. I took that as a challenge and I’m incredibly grateful I did. Opening my bookshelf up to people of different genders, orientations, backgrounds etc exposed me to a lot of great works I didn’t realise I was denying myself. Yours is a great initiative that I really hope catches on!
