It’s nice when you go from “idea!💡” to “oh, not as difficult as expected” to “it worked!”
I wanted to display little inline previews of CSS colors in code blocks (kind of how code editors do) in some docs, and decided to try and make an Expressive Code plugin to do it and… it just worked!
Shout out to @hippo@m.webtoo.ls for making a plugin API as nice as this 💅

I’ve been making this recipe for years and now it’s built with Astro!
Cool URLs don’t change, they just get more Astro-y.

Expressive Code is an amazing, framework-agnostic library for displaying beautiful code snippets in your sites. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
