First up is the HP 200LX from 1994. It (shockingly) runs MS DOS 5 off of 2 AA batteries with a 8 MHz 80186 processor. It has a CGA screen with 2 bit color and no backlight. #retrocomputing

I'm all set up at Southeast Michigan Vintage Compute Club #retrocomputing #semvcc. I'm showing a range of handheld / palmtop computers with rapidly advancing screen technology from 1994 to 2002.

You can do a lot of things with @sigstore@infosec.exchange: sign things with workload identity, get attestations in package managers like PyPI, etc. But there's some limitations. For instance, you can't verify a Sigstore bundle in a 16-bit DOS environment.
