as much as i dont like it i dont think suing will do anything, because technically they didn't do anything wrong, you did choose to publish your things publicly, and they just downloaded it.

i think what we need is more defined regulations on what can be used for training. it's hard to draw a line though, what if someone wanted to scrape just a little bit of data to train their own hobby model? i'd be fine with that.

@tragivictoria@mastodon.com.pl nearly all of the vibe coded projects are not libraries. imo that doesnt count as part of the ecosystem. for end user apps language doesnt matter. im also not sure where you are seeing this trend. not doubting you, i just havent seen this firsthand myself. at least on hn, most vibe coded projects are always either js/ts or python.

in your gitconfig. its faster to type, and if you need to update your remote url just edit your config file and it reflects across all your repos (git doesn't resolve the alias when you set it, only when reading it).
