I see a lot of good reasoning here but I can’t get over the fact that I wouldn’t choose the same for myself. If I can’t see myself choosing death why force it on my friend? I have never judged someone for choosing to kill their pet who is in a terrible condition dommed to get worse however. I just can’t do what I wouldn’t want done to me.
