Somebody on here knew a whole lot of pixel artists. Sadly I had never followed up. I have an idea for a video game (that will probably never come out) but I'm getting motivated to try. If so, could you pass on to the artists the following:
I'm looking for someone who can produce sprites of a boxer giving punches, similar to Little Mac from Super Punch Out. To illustrate this, I have attached the sprite sheet from Super Punchout that shows what I want. Price? Resolution? Please PM me
I need to actually get around to learning Godot. I wanna make a Punch Out knock off that's open source, moddable and fun called "Retraux Fister"
I'm going to recommend to declutter your life a bit and here are three ways to do so:
- If you have a browser full of saved videos to watch, just abandon the whole thing and start from scratch and see if you miss it
- Play through your backlog. New games usually don't live up to the hype and you already have a stack of games you've already bought or pirated
- If you have a list of things you want to buy, just close the browser for a week and see if you still remember the items later
I'm still on my Punch Out binge. So its basically like Dark Souls - it feels difficult at first, but only because you haven't been trained to play it. Then as you do, suddenly you realize you're really good at it and then taking down every boss is just figuring out how to beat them.
I just wish they allowed you better access to practicing against the fighters in Super Punch Out; I had to do save states to beat Super Macho Man for the first time and basically the entire final circuit.
Super Punch Out has co trols beyond punch and dodge that are best communicated in this walkthrough. Its the best walkthrough ever, check out the whole series
A Video Game: Director's Cut flash movie from Newgroubds, well before YouTube existed. Its about the fleamen from Castlevania and this is 23 years old - the video is closer to the original NES game than the modern day!
So I completed my collection of songs the other day - its all Ai so let's not call it an album - and to celebrate we're going to go through the collection every Saturday. I might be updating one of the last songs.
For the first song, its the Retro Gaiden theme song. I tried remaking the song for quite a while, but can't find anything I like nearly as much as the original
