I've realized that my current time at community college isn't really furthering anything. I'm struggling too much to get stuff done in classes, and the impact this has had on my grades has been too severe to really come back from at this college.
This leads to a new plan, where I think the first and most important thing is fixing my ADHD medication. And just because last community college didn't go to plan, it doesn't mean it's over. There's another nearby college where I think, with better medication, I could apply and perform significantly better in classes. I would not have to submit my transcripts at the prior college for transferring, and I'd lose very little as I've gotten almost nothing done.
But this all hinges on finding a real and effective treatment for my ADHD, which is the part that has made me nervous. Trying a friends vyvanse made me think it may help, but if I cannot get this to work there is no reason to believe this attempt will be different.
Things may not be perfect, but I've found that I still have hope I can pursue an education
