I’ve only experienced something like this a few times in my life, but a couple years ago I had a dream: in it, I was on a Zoom call with my boss who was letting me go. “Sorry it didn’t work out” etc

I didn’t think much about it at the time because I didn’t recognize the person on screen, but imagine my surprise when I got hired by someone incredibly reminiscent approximately a year later.

He quit a few months before I lost the gig, and while I don’t believe in The Woo, I’ll admit being spooked

I’m calling it now: Democrats are going to trample the GOP in the next couple of elections; the hedge funds, private equity, etc will respond by rug-pulling a market that’s been over-bought for years; the media will then push the narrative they’re handed: that the crash is the result of left wing economic policy; and the public will guzzle it down mostly unquestioned.

Meant to go back and try again from a WASMified FFMpeg, but ugh
