here's a slightly less breakdown-y goodbye post, because i don't want to leave on such a sour note.
using fedi has become more and more taxing for me everyday, and what happened today is kind of the final straw for me that ultimately leaded to what I'm going to do now:
i am finally quitting fedi. well, kind of. i will still be on my alternate account, which wont post as frequently as i did on here, and it will be mostly nerdy shit that none of yall following would care about.
was this spearheaded by anything or anyone in particular? yes. while i won't say who or what it exactly was, i will say that some people here should probably spend time off the internet, and go out and do something, even if it's something small like going outside for a little stroll.
anyways, to those who stuck around during my fedi journey, thank you. some of you are the best people i've ever met in my life, and i wouldn't want to lose you, not now, not ever.
but until something happens where i have to come back, for whatever reason, this is the end, and likely the last you'll ever see of me unless you're in contact with me.
