I've just had an idea for a terrible rendition of A Christmas Carol:

Mando and his adoptive child, Grogu, are visited by three ghosts: podracing-Anakin, sand-monologue-Anakin, and Darth Vader.

I'm losing my mind. Was Hania Rani's bassist wearing a shirt with a tiny MS-DOS logo on it?

I only caught this at the end of the show when they took a bow, and I'm now so confused and curious by this guy's extremely weird shirt.

I only managed a terrible cameraphone photo.

Entering Hour 8 on I-95. This roadtrip should have been a train!

Today, I rode BART for my second time in a decade. I witnessed an incident of unprovoked police brutality at the station where I boarded (at 6AM), and later in the same trip, our train operator overshot the platform, leading to a long delay.

Actually makes me appreciate the DC Metro.

@woolfhound@woof.group I totally get what you're saying, but there are so, so, so many points to the contrary from individuals, media outlets, and organizations who should know better (ie. AAA)

@brianstorms@mastodon.social @VHasch@universeodon.com A lot of research HAS been done about this, and the general consensus is that cyclists tend to only disobey laws when those laws are failing to protect them (or are actively making things worse) As an example, I will come to a stop and proceed through a red light if the coast is clear in both directions (as will most people on foot). It's *far* safer for me than having a line of drivers behind me swerving and trying to pass me in an intersection after the light turns green

It remains absolutely wild to me that Jalopnik, of all things, has one of the most enlightened editorial views on car culture and windshield-perspective.

This is a blistering editorial that would get you fired from just about any mainstream newspaper for writing.
