Oh joy! I added Google* to my robots.txt file, but that blocks the Google bots from seeing the noindex meta tag. Once I add the code only to deliver the noindex tag to Google (and who knows, perhaps some others) I'll have to unblock their bots.

I have upgraded mine to a 2” tube (add on kit). That’s certainly more than the 35 mm diagonal. So far I have not mounted a camera, as there is no good way of physically supporting it.

@elsandosgrande@pleroma.envs.net @lina@vt.social Under FreeBSD there are two ways of maintaining port packages: by building them (semi-)manually, or by using Poudriere. The former won’t necessarily rebuild a package if there is a change in a dependency. The latter always builds the entire tree of dependent packages to insure a self-consistent set. Other build systems have faster ways of checking for broken libraries (e.g. MacPorts will check for broken links after any set of builds).

@elsandosgrande@pleroma.envs.net @lina@vt.social It's the other way around: rust is rebuilt when packages that are used to build rust itself are updated. librsvg then gets rebuilt using the new version of rust. P.S. Poudriere often produces an identical rust package, as the changes in the development tools may cause no change in rust itself.

@lina@vt.social As a MacPorts maintainer and a FreeBSD sysadmin, I run into two problems with rust: 1) It is unwieldy to maintain rust and cargo, so both are often out of date on MacPorts. 2) On FreeBSD some random library (e.g. librsvg) that depends on rust/cargo causes Poudriere to rebuild rust every time some build dependency is updated. This usually takes several hours on my build machine. For this reason, and that it adds a lot of extra packages, MacPorts still doesn't use librsvg built using rust.
