I finished the Reindeer Romp 5K this morning with a chip time of 41:48.72. 🥳

These were my goals for the race:

- Baseline goal: finish the race ✅
- Traning goal: run the whole race without walking ✅
- Stretch goal: finish in under 45 minutes ✅

I’ve reached all three goals after 12 weeks of consistent training, going from walking to running. I’m proud of my accomplishment! 😊

Now I’ll take some time for rest and recovery before I plan my next goals.

I upgraded my personal website to Astro v5! 🥳

The upgrade didn't break anything on my site. I converted my content collections to the new Content Layer API anyway and updated the Typescript configuration.

Switching my content collections to the Content Layer API briefly changed the dynamic routes for my notes and articles. However, the issue magically fixed itself, probably by me restarting the dev server. Everything else went smoothly!

@neuralex@neurodifferent.me I used to tell my mom her computer wouldn’t burst into flames, until she told me one day her monitor had started to smolder. Fortunately, she had been at home when that had happened and only the monitor had been harmed (or harmed itself?).
