@pleia2@floss.social All being well this coming September will be 25 years since I first walked into IBM straight out of university into Level 3 support for Java on z/OS. And yes, z/OS was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. And I love it for all of its quirkiness (but I am British). Last year, after our team moved back to IBM from Red Hat, we were in a meeting where two lists of customers were presented. I saw one of them was all in caps and remarked "that must be z/OS". It was. 😆
