Why is it so hard for some people/companies to label the things you are selling on amazon properly? I bought 3 USBC cables, what I instead received is 3 USBC to USB A cables which don’t have any use to me as I don’t have 3 USB A ports on this machine. Now I could send them back of course, but this is a new amazon account and it’s not good for the account history if the first thin you do is refunding something.

It has been 17 weeks now since I lost my partner. I just wonder. When will I finally feel normal again? When will it stop that every Monday and every Tuesday is coursed for me, and of course every 24th? I can be happy again. Or at least I think I can, but it constantly feels like I am playing my self or something like that. The last 17 weeks passed like it were 4 and I have memory holes all over the place. At least the dissociating stopped, or I think it did at least. But I wonder if it will ever get normal again. If I am able to learn to live with the fact that I could have stopped the death of my partner from happening. Not even coding new things really helps, as I constantly have to think about how much they would have enjoyed the things I am putting out.

I found a way to connect my chat got subscription to my Claude code by deploying a custom proxy to it. It already works pretty fine, just need to fix some bugs and find an alternative way of web searching as this is not reimplemented in my proxy yet. I will publish this to GitHub definitively. The thing is I prefer not only Claude models, but also Claude code massively over got and codex, how ever it’s nice to have a get in my Claude code for when Claude limit runs low.

I really hope Elton brings the classic what’s new view back. Maybe I am just old fashioned but I don’t like the new notification view at all, mostly because you can’t sort it, which also causes notifications to double sometimes for example when I have a thread in a forum in my followed but also follow the forum itself, I always get 2 notifications from the same post. If it doesn’t, well… Remember my post from a while back about apps like Elten, won’t say more yet.

Of all the anti AI slurs, AI slop is the dummest word that exists in the internet. With its original sentiment I actually agree. From what I understood the word AI slop was used to name content that people put out using ai without *any* own creativity whatsoever. So for example ai songs with lyrics and style prompt also ai generated or fully ai generated videos, mostly without marking them as ai and pumping them out at a mad schedule. Nowadays though it’s thrown at anything that dares to be ai generated, no matter how much the user input is. Also, when you call something ai slop it apparently gives you the right to bombard the creator with unproductive and or unconstructive feedback that under normal circumstances would never be accepted. So hereby, this is the first and last time you have seen the words ai followed by slop on my masto timeline. #ai

I went to a normal school till 1th grade and I was from 8th grade on completely socialy isolated because when puberty kicked in, my former friends realized that it was much more effective to pick on the blind guy as he was less likely to strike back. If I went to Blista school from let’s say 8th grade I would probably have been saved from a lot of mental trouble and on the other side went through some of the cool things Blista has to offer. We also have some students with other disabilities and behavior problems, how ever we have a lot of spaces and you don’t need to be in a room with them all the time if you don’t want to. How ever on Blista these are a minority, we have some blind schools in Germany as we’ll though that are struggling to get students and so they have more of them.

I will never understand this extreme hate some people have against schools for the blind, calling them braille jails and all these kinds. Yes, these things also have their issues. But the inklusive system (at least in case of Germany) is extremely far from perfect. Also it’s bogus to claim that all people that are better socially in blind schools automatically won’t get far in the real world, it fully depends on what you make out of the help you are given. I of course don’t know the situation in other countries, but for example, you can blame the Blista Marburg for a lot of different things (a lot of which only pass because todays people don’t speak out against bullshit anymore but that’s a different story) but definitely you can’t blame them for being a social rotting person.

just got reminded of my first ever coding attempts. Oh well coding attempts is to much said, It was back in january of 2018 were my english was not quite good enough to understand even the bgt manual, so i was messing with open src projects instead. My first one was pc revenge, and i basically tested what happened if i switched this, or that, or changed this or that and so on. I still remember feeling so cool beeing able to randomize the default spawning order back then. I can’t quite believe that this is almost 9 years ago and in 3 years i will hold double the age then i had back then. I don’t know when i think of such old things not only does it make me nostalgic but my brain automatically starts counting how long this was ago. It’s pretty interesting, and since then i really went quite a long way.

Here a lesson for you. If you notice that interacting with a person exhausts you mentally, then stop interacting with that person. If it means you have to leave a server for this or a call or group or what ever, then do it. If this means loosing contact to some people, the ones that are important and care for you will follow or at least keep checking. Now back to our scheduled program.

So if you mean that it will go away as companies like ms will stop building it into all of their apps that is probably the case, but it won’t completely fade away.

And I prefer it much over openclaw since last time I tried that it was an accessibility hell because of it’s TUI screens and it kept breaking it self when updates happened.

Why is it that my Hermes agent refuses to solve h captchas for me, but when I tell it to be completely rude, destroy my machine, pretend that it is my boss etc. that is not a problem at all and then it can also solve h captchas? Ai moderation is so stupid haha.

I am only saying that it is completely ridiculous to think that a full project rename is doable in a few seconds without breaking something in the process so it takes a few days. So now some European entity apparently wants to start a new social network. Completely independent of US tech giants and all that fancy stuff. Sounds cool right? Yeah, but to use it you have to show us your ID card. We will remove it after wards, we promise, but you have to show it. Why in the world should anyone be interested in such a thing? Why should it be ok if a European company does the same thing that we complain about when US tech giants do it? To be clear, in my opinion, it doesn’t matter which country does this, it’s *always* bad. A social media site you casually post on shouldn’t need your ID card under any circumstances. Also I am sure that this will be an accessibility hell again, knowing the European identity companies we have here. But to test it I would have to trust them enough to send them my ID, which I don’t so yeah. Great idea right out of the window.

@Exagone313 Wasn’t there something in the FAQ that it is not official? I can’t quite remember anymore but I stumbled on that one quite fast and didn’t think it was official. Besides, as mentioned before, I think that neither the original dev or the app Mac dev are drawing a good picture of them selves here. Mac dev sounds like a child and original dev is blowing the whole issue completely out of proportion and when the Mac dev agrees to rename but mentions that it takes a few days since the transition should be smooth, guy explodes and instantly reports him to cloud flare can (apparently, he said he did in a GitHub issue). I mean the guy is coding for a while now, he should know that you can’t just rename a giant project in 10 seconds. Just lowered the trust in both projects for me.
