Well I dropped my phone today, and it developed some pretty cracks. Thankfully it's under the surface and doesn't affect touch. Setting up USB debug now cause the next time I drop it I might need to operate it without the screen. Lasted a good 5 years though! GG Samsung J7.

Got tricked into buying this "broccoli rice", which is just chopped broccoli stems? Cooked it, mixed with rice, roux, and spices to make some sort of broccoli risotto, which turned out pretty good.

@rnd@toot.cat Yeah, the main problem is that there's very few people I can actually sent a PGP e-mail to. I've had it set up in Thunderbird for years but the number of e-mail contacts I have with their own PGP key is almost none.

As an aside, people for years and years have been complaining that e-mail is not secure. We have PGP end-to-end encryption, and it's easy enough to use. The problem is that gmail and other major e-mail providers want to read your e-mail, so they will not give you this feature. You have to take it for yourself.

Finally migrated 20 years of old e-mail out of google mail. Feels pretty good.

Despite what it says in the image, Google's servers don't feel sadness. I resent when corporate machines whine that we're not paying them enough tribute.

One of the rarest items in my NES collection: Beyond the Pins.
It's a lovely short adventure/bowling game. It never got a release beyond its initial short run for people willing to gamble on a mystery cartridge.

The weather is just nice enough to start cycling, I think. Today I saw a nice sunset and rainstorm over Lake Ontario. Though I stayed mostly dry, it even started to snow a little bit as I got home. 🚴‍♂️

@0xabad1dea I'm reminded how I saw the term "gaslighting" go from a rare specific usage about lying to undermine someone's self confidence and manipulate them for personal gain... to its current widespread popularity, where it often just means "lying", or sometimes even just "has an opinion I think is wrong". And sometimes it's hard to tell the difference, whether the speaker is actually making an accusation of lying/manipulation or not, especially because of the factors you just mentioned.

8 years ago I made this NES game called Lizard. I never know how to describe it... a quiet game of exploration, with a little bit of difficulty, a little bit of mystery. It was a kind of game I wanted to see more of, and I still look at it fondly.

It definitely does not seem to group with the ones immediately after. I found a site saying that the "EBoy collective" made that horse and the grey truck on pale blue background, linking to their website, which does claim they did create works for Xbox.
