@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space No laptops pretty common round these parts. Phones turned off seems a bit much, even the cinema and employers chill on that one. I think the places I prefer more cultivate a vibe of low tech than enforce no tech. If you are serving matcha in a wabi-sabi chasen to someone on a rug on the floor in a basement whilst someone plays the sitar peeps less likely to whip out a laptop than a matcha latte espresso bar with window stools.
