@adotinthevoid and eventually, after performing a check on the normalized form, cargo-semver-checks may re-denormalize in order to point out the specific clause that was broken — which may be in a where clause or in the generic definition itself.
Feels like a severe case of path-dependence. In the abstract, we might have wanted a "clause source" flag plus a normalized representation. But perhaps it's too late now, or maybe not!
