I'm so tired of hearing "it'll get worse before it gets better" about the current political moment in the US. Can I get an ETA (with evidence backing it up) on the "gets better" part? Will I live to see it? :P
the leftism leaving people's bodies when i see how shitty and exploitative and ableist the entire job system is and actively want to avoid participating in it
can we just make it a rule that if your political post can be summed up as "everything and everyone sucks and nobody's doing enough!!", then you have to include a meaningful answer to the question "so what do we do about it?" that an individual can reasonably take action on. otherwise just STFU.

@nami@tech.lgbt It's especially worth noting that if you don't have the $130 for a full passport book, there's the option to get a passport card for $30; it's equally valid ID domestically, you can use it to get to Canada and Mexico by land or sea, and it'll make it far easier to get a passport book later down the line.
