Keeping upright with pointy sticks, yarn and coffee. Got ill, now knits a lot. Profile pic: a mitten-in-progress in shades of blue and cream, needles still attached, is leaning against 2 balls of yarn next to a blue mug of cappuccino. Header pic: a closeup of a light, ever so slightly greyish blue ball of yarn.

@Violinknitter@wandering.shop Do you happen to have easy access to the new grove?

People are doing rocket science and quantum mechanics, and yet no one has invented a knitting needle that displays the current number of stitches it's holding.
Disappointing.

*frogged*
I dropped a stitch when attaching yarn for a forethought heel. Toe down sock, stitch on the toe-side of the hole so the stitches are 'upside down'. I cannot get my brain around how to pick it up properly. Anyone with a (link to a) good explanation? I really don't want to unravel the whole foot.
Edit: it’s technically picked up in the pic, but it doesn’t look right in the red/pink colorwork (gaping stitches). I’m looking for the correct way to fix.
