I have this orchid, and I think it wants a bigger pot. My understanding is that they like air and not a big pot of dirt, though, so I’m not sure what to get for it. Any advice? Boosts welcome.

Just saw a reference to the former Ok glacier in Iceland, which a few years ago shrunk so much that it stopped being a glacier. Please read this plaque they put up next to it.

@psistarpsiii@tacobelllabs.net Don’t discount it. I was once switch to a pill with the same doses and a different progesterone and it made me feel like utter crap. Not the direction I wanted to go, but it was definitely different.

@Gina@fosstodon.org @janl@narrativ.es I’m with you, Gina. Having everything be yet another open tab in my browser is a pain. I can automate interactions better with apps, blocking their notifications at different times, choosing which ones I do or don’t want appearing on my home screen at different times, etc. When it’s all in a browser it’s just all one big distracting mess.

@Photo55 @gemeenteamsterdam Unfortunately, no. This is an area designed to discourage car traffic, and when there aren’t a lot of cars app designers don’t care. Most road users here are on bike, and having to bike way out of your way because the road is closed is definitely a pain. Unfortunately all the apps are made by Americans who think bikes are toys so 🤷🏻

Dear #knitting lazy web: does anyone know of any patterns for socks with thick bottoms? I bought some socks in Scotland that are thick, warm, and squooshy on the bottom and they are my new best friends. I want to make more! Searching on ravelry was not productive, but it's a difficult thing to search for. I can't figure out a way to do it on my own without knitting flat and seaming.
