@younata@hachyderm.io It's not supposed to be used with your finger, just with the stylus. I do sometimes forget when I come back to my Newton! Also keyboards were a thing (either using your computer as a keyboard, or attaching one with a dongle).

@gingerbeardman macOS 15.7.4 on a M4 Max 16” MBP. I can’t attach a topology snapshot here seemingly so let me know if it’s useful / how to get it to you.

@gingerbeardman Nice to get a chance to use this! Interesting how Thunderbolt basically appears invisible to the USB topology — a Thunderbolt display looks like it’s plugged into the Mac directly when it’s plugged in through a Thunderbolt dock. Some layout issues with the LG UltraFine which appear differently in the app and exports.

@drdrang@fosstodon.org @mjtsai@mastodon.social @bgeerdes@mastodon.cloud @gruber@mastodon.social Yes, it's in the 1987 HIG mentioning left-to-right, top-to-bottom with the most commonly used button in the bottom right. Mac keyboards prior to ADB (SE/II) didn't even have an Escape key. (There's a great HIG archive on GitHub; see https://github.com/gingerbeardman/apple-human-interface-guidelines/blob/main/1987%20Apple%20Human%20Interface%20Guidelines%20-%20The%20Apple%20Desktop%20Interface.pdf)
