Nodes of Resistance

We will kick off on 30 September with a session on “Is there Technology without Extractivism?” @tarakiyee@mastodon.online will talk about ”What the Machine is Made Of“, walking us through the layers of the technological stack. We will discuss how to confront the intensified wave of extractivism across the world, from Peru to Eastern Germany. What are strategies to reduce or radically rethink Big Tech’s destructive footprint? We will then delve into opportunities for organising with groups fighting extractivism.
