I’ve started collecting architects’ signatures carved in stone on the facades of Buenos Aires.
When I walk, a hunting instinct kicks in: my eyes sharpen, excitement grows.
This isn’t a walk — it’s a hunt
This inscription from a 1970s brochure published by the Buenos Aires Ecopark caught my attention: “How wonderful it is to be small!” The typeface is geometric — a style especially beloved by local architects (here, every building seems to have the name of its designer engraved on it). It’s made up of two parallel lines of different thicknesses, creating an inner shadow effect that gives the letters a sense of volume.
