I'm pretty happy with the progress I've made with my Astro Book Tracker!

I wanted to create tool for myself so that in case Storygraph ever goes down, I have all my reading data in a format that's portable. Of course, it uses Netlify hosting, functions, and blob functionality so it's not really a "static" site.

But honestly I wasn't aiming for static this time, just something I could easily use as a reading tracker. I'll probably use this and Storygraph simultaneously for now to see how things go.

It's the first manga series I've seen that's had such an honest, frank viewpoint towards sex and sexuality.

Mist Vol. 1 (Haitang Books) is available for preorder from Kinokuniya but I'm honestly a little worried about the translation quality after the whole debacle over their earlier releases.

Nippon Sangoku is the most old-man yaoi show ever, I love it 😭 (Ryumon/Kaku is so real I swear)

Aoteru is the main character but he barely shows up lol. It all feels like a prologue so far.

I just went through and archived all the fanfics I'd be sad about not getting to read anymore. As always, I've given myself too much power lol. Readeck has really nice tagging and collections abilities, so once you setup a collection with a specific set of tags, it will auto-update the collection!

In the interest of saving things before they disappear, I decided to self-host #Readeck, which is a bookmark/read-it-later application with archiving capabilities.

Probably not going to replace Instapaper with it since I have some automations setup, but it has an excellent archiving ability that works with a browser extension

I got tired of waiting for a re-license or continuation of Dawn of the Mapmaker / Tsukumo no Reimei (it's been years) so I bought the jp books to MTL.

I ordered books from Merry Manga Co. on April 24th and they said it would take 3 weeks for backordered books.

They still haven't shipped them out yet :opchopperplease:

I'm gonna give it one more week before contacting them since Lord of Mysteries released on the 12th, but not sure if I would order from them again if it takes this long without any updates
