What I REALLY want is to live a lifestyle that is less dependent on accurate clocks. Let my body decide when to sleep and wake up. Make plans to meet people “around midday,” or “dusk.” Lounge around while I wait for the other person to show up, and be unbothered because neither of us is in any hurry.

I could be content for the rest of my days with only books, plays, and live music to fulfill my cultural entertainment needs. It’s funny that this is a pretentious take for elite snobs when it takes so much less effort to put on a play or music performance than it does to record a film or album.
ANYONE can do a play. You could! Maybe you should.
