In another unrelated but simultaneous food related mishap, when I went to buy a new bag of rice they were out of our usual brand so I just grabbed a bag of the same type on the next shelf.
Having just reviewed the receipt, this was apparently $50 rice, which is like at least 2-3X fancier than our usual stuff
Now I feel pressured to put more effort into cooking so we don't disappoint the rice 🥲

Ordered out for dinner and *thought* we ordered some Taiwanese popcorn chicken, but alas we accidentally ordered Taiwanese deep-fried chicken cartilage, which looks identical and has the same spices, but every piece is the awkward unexpected chewy/crunchy bite you would normally sneakily spit into a napkin.

I'm almost done my first project for that amateur artist collective I'm trying to establish, as our first deadline is the end of May!
just need to spend a bit longer tweaking levels in the audio output... my bass is too deep to hear without headphones and the leads are too shrill and fuzzing a little.
So close!

Im really enjoying Baulder's Gate 3, but I have discovered that if I play it until I fall asleep I end up dreaming in Baulder's gate mechanics, and no matter what the dream is about it now includes navigating inventory menus and takes place turn-by-turn ;_;
Anyways mostly finished act 1 so going to take a break now I think.

One wants to play Baulder's Gate 3, the other wants to work on my music project.
There's also a cat that wants to just zone out on the couch in the sun.
Also a few of squirrels, two bats, and at least 400 species of weevil.
