BIG NEWS:
On Tuesday, my eldest told me they wanted to take the GED; "Mom, let's make an appointment, and go do it."
And today, with no expectation other than facing down a thing that felt big and scary - they sat for 4 exams and PASSED on the first attempt, without study or prep.
This kid has spent the past 4 years surviving treatment resistant depression and murder brain.
This kid is a total badass. I am so fucking proud to be their mom.
