Bought myself a battery brushcutter to try and reclaim back some of the lawn that has been gradually disappearing under the brush. 2. Managed to use it for an hour or so and had great fun chopping down all the crap that had branches up to 2cm thick before my back told me to take a rest. 3. Looking forward to hacking out the rest of the encroaching foliage whenever it stop raining.

#3GoodThings 1. Fixed up my home made gps wall clock so it shows today's date instead of November 2006. 2. Wrote up a report for the govt communications minister showing how a 6 line code fix could have averted the Telstra national outage earlier this month. 3. Felt really good about both the above and got lazy and cooked us all frozen pizza for dinner.

1. Gave away a ten year old collection of digital magazines to someone that will actually read and enjoy them
2. Stayed out of the kitchen hustle while my daughter cooked us all a steak and mash dinner.
3. Got to wear a T-shirt on a sunny day in mid winter(AU here) without needing the heating turned on.

1. Pizza for dinner, the steak meal can wait for tomorrow, too much bother to cook them.
2. Took the women to town to do some shopping and they were back at the car before I had completed the boring grocery rounds.
3. Fixed the noisy sliding door after some googling - toothbrush, surface spray, lots of yuck removed and some silicone spray to finish off. Much improved.

@greenpeace@mastodon.social You should also mention the reason why salmon is pink/red: The poultry industry has no use for chicken beaks so they grind them up and sell them to the industrial salmon farmers to make their fish look edible.

I have to use a not so great navigation app and sometime miss out on people sharing stuff on gdrive that it won't let me see without an account but overall the change has been great for me.

3. Used an AI with success to find lost stuff in my Grateful Dead music collection

@liquidparanoia@aus.social I have one. Lots of fun and very effective on mozzies and flies. Useless on bigger insects.
