I'm now thinking of moving to a different instance, maybe fosstodon (if it will let me in there)

Has anyone created a quiz/flowchart for determining which mastodon server we should join? 🥹
I've discovered Mastodon API now, and it looks like there is a wrapper in #Python. Will give that a try. (I can already see myself wanting an asyncio one 🥴)

I still don't know how to follow people on mastodon 😬
e.g. someone shared profile on twitter. I clicked on it but it asked me to login. I'm already logged in though. How do I use this thing? 😰 Am I doing something wrong?
If people follow me then at least I can click the "follow back" button.
