Always fun to find a random notes folder full of hastily-jotted down creative ideas that were absolutely brilliant!! when you came up with them and are now totally incomprehensible
The umbrella-handedness poll has ended with 47 respondents! Thank you all for indulging my random interest! A few things I learned:
- Only 4 options in a Mastodon poll
- You can only vote if you have a Mastodon account
- Poll creator also can't see who voted (nice to confirm firsthand)
- People are really interested in odd little questions and happy to help boost
- People can interpret things in a way you didn't expect, or share an experience that you didn't think of - it's super interesting
A random question that crossed my mind the other day while walking in the rain (and excuse to play with the poll feature):
☂️ Which hand do you hold an open umbrella in?
(If you, like my parents, start your answer with "🧐 It depends on [insert a ton of variables]", please choose what you would consider your most common/default approach.)
...also I just realized that I seem to only have 4 options. Well, now I know.
When you come back to comics work after weeks of leaving them on the back burner, and you're all pumped and ready to pick up the pace again!!! and you look at your thumbnails and go, "well I have no idea what these were supposed to be anymore."
For Canadians: The People’s Consultation on AI aims to "advance AI law, policy, and regulation centred around human rights and the public interest", and was created to "protest and reject the deeply misguided and wrongheaded approach to public consultation demonstrated by the government’s thirty-day “national sprint” on Canada’s artificial intelligence (“AI”) strategy."
Submissions accepted until March 15! https://www.peoplesaiconsultation.ca/
