DONT want to be rude … but that’s the problem right?
Like not just losing your job and having your profession shrink (though it’s ironic that the “automate everyone’s job away” profession automated themselves first) …
But, what’s left of this world for us in an AI future? Is it our world? Do we have any means as average people to ensure any kind of sovereignty and fairness? What does a good healthy human society even look like, and what kinds of technological advancement fits with that? Do we have alternatives ways to progress?
Big important questions, no? Which no one or few are openly talking about!
In the end, our love of novelty, of having something else do work for us, and our adaptability to the point of moving toward unhealthy behaviours … all seem unsuited to this moment.
