South Korea is partially shaped by it's need for safety from NK, while old pain from Japan is slowly being forgotten
Kinda similar for me, Afghanistan is only ~350km away from where I am
South Korean public opinion 2026:
- record 80% supported acquiring indigenous nuclear weapons
- Japan’s image improved markedly
- Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi recorded the highest favorability
- United States remained the most favored country, explicitly despite Trump
- Those who thought China was more economically important fell to 19.7%
- Preference of US over China as the stronger power in ten years fell 7.2 points, though the US still led 3:1
Worth mentioning I do like all the opinions listed

Namu wiki English:
So, in the 1990s, SBS’s popular program *Curiosity Heaven* conducted an experiment to see if tigers were really afraid of dried persimmons, feeding them to tigers at a zoo. First, when they simply picked up a dried persimmon with tongs and placed it in the cage, the tigers sniffed it but immediately lost interest. Second, when a zookeeper tried to feed it to them by hand, the tigers recoiled in disgust and refused to even look at the persimmon. Finally, as part of the experiment, the SBS production team stuffed a dried persimmon inside a raw chicken, which was the tigers' food. The tiger, which had been eating the chicken well, vomited up the chicken as soon as it chewed the persimmon. In reality, since the animals were forced to eat food they disliked for the sake of the broadcast and spat it out, it was a segment that would likely have received significant criticism if aired today.

Hetzner is now really overpriced, and support takes way longer to respond (KVM request for one of my clients)
OVH has cheaper dedicated servers, while fscking DO has cheaper low-end droplets
(and no, it's ownership has not changed)
